Metallica was the star in a new "ArtistDirect.com" commercial. It was on l
ast night while I was watching VH-1's "The Rock Show" (they're playing a
new S&M video each night).
The commercial starts with the British guy from Monty Python (I don't
remember his name) outside the door to the main studio at "The Plant".
He says something about asking Metallica about their new site at
artistdirect.com. He walks in while the entire band is jamming in the
studio, and everyone yells at him "Hey, you can't be in here!" (Even Bob
Rock!) The guy asks his question "So how boss is your new site at
artistdirect.com?" and James says "Lets show him" and they start jamming
and blow him out of the room.
It was sort of strange seeing Metallica in a commercial at 1:00 in the morning.
