As soon as i arrived i was amazed at energy coming from the crowd and i knew
that it was going to be something special.
Although the concert was amazing there were some faults. One of the main
faults was that it needed to be LOUDER!!!!. The crowds singing was louder
then James and they did most of it for him, even though his voice was very
good. Many times the crowd's yelling over powered the orchestra and
metallica. The 'Tallica boys finally listened to our chants to turn it
louder in the second half of the show. But a major problem throughout the
concert was that kirks solos were very hard to hear.
In the second half of the show I completely forgot that the orchestra was
there. James did too since he forgot about their part in "Enter Sandman" and
made a slight mistake.Except for this mistake there were little if any other
flaws between Metallica and the Orchestra.
Overall, this was an incredible show with a lot of energy running through the
crowd. I think the Orchestra of St. Lukes enjoyed the performance as
well...(especially the percussion section headbanging to some songs) Lars got
up at the end and thanked everyone for the years of great touring and the
concert was finished.
