intersandman.com reports that Metallica was named "Most Performed Artist" for receiving the most
number of plays on the TouchTunes Digital Jukebox between
September 1999 and August 2000. Metallica's record company Elektra,
as well as BMI, a performing rights society, received awards.
TouchTunes President and CEO Tony Mastronardi presented the
awards.
