Systematic have just completed their debut album for Lars Ulrich's label "The Music Company" through Elektra Records w/ producer Peter Collins in Nashville. The band will mix w/ Andy Wallace in NY beginning next Monday, Nov. 13th. The album is set to be released early 2001.
Lars has helped this band in the studio, and here is what Nick, the bass player, writes on their official website:
"Lars came out again for the last week of recording and it was a whirlwind experience as usual. I'm amazed at his ear for arrangement. He really helped push the songs to a new level. The cool part of him coming out was the late night jam sessions we had with him when we were through recording for the day. We jammed AC/DC, Skynyrd, and some other old metal stuff as well as some Metallica stuff. We ran the tape on it so maybe it'll end up somewhere when you least expect it."
