During the set played by Creeping death Lars and Kirk showed up and not only watched, but joined. Together they played "Die, Die My Darling", "No Remorse", "Helpless", "...And
Justice For All", a jam of "Ride the Lightning", and finished off with "Am I
Evil."
Here is a short report by Creeping deaths guitar player: Kirk walks up to ME and says "Nice Guitar!" (about my
Vee!). I showed it to him and then I handed him my Les
Paul (which he liked!!!) and he proceeded to play it.
I asked him if he would sign it after the show but he
couldn't wait for us to finish and left. Lars stuck
around and signed the guitar and then chatted with the
band. We talked about what Metallica is up to now,
about the bassist situation and about their time with
Battery. Lars asked about the band and if we toured
and such. I told him about the Metal Tribute Band show
in Tuscon we're doing soon and he really sounded
interested in that. Who knows, maybe he'll come guest
jam with us there?!?
Lars also posted some words about this on the fanclub site. You have to be a member to see the full post, but among other stuff, he types:
It wuz supercool to see all ya all at the Bash the other nite in SF. Quite a
shindig. It was really fun to see "Creeping death". I think they fuckin rock.
Dig the wigs, baby. Cool jams too on the 'tallica trax that we all
