Dave Mustaine has been out dining with people he has been in a band with, as he writes on his website megadeth.com. Mega-Dave have only been in Metallica before he started Megadeth, and he has recently done his best to be in touch with Lars and James, and to become good friends with them again. They kicked him out of Metallica before Kill 'em all was recorded because of drinking problems while touring. See other recently news about Dave and Metallica here and here
Here is what Dave wrote on megadeth.com: "Lastly, a very special friend from SF called me today and we are going out tonight to talk about what it used to be like when we were in a band together. It is times like the past few days when one really realizes that all we have is each other. And I am very glad that I have you."
In his tour-diary in the Metal Sludge magazine Dave wrote "I am now signing off before it gets too much later. I just met up with an ex-drummer from an ex-band up here in SF to talk about 'stuff." Guess they had a lot to talk about.
