The guys are throwing a little shindig this Saturday, July 6th and you are all invited!! That's right, the Launch Party is on! What's the Launch Party? Well, remember last year when Metallica.com held a contest to celebrate the launch of the new website and winners were drawn? There were a total of 110 winners, 10 of which were Grand Prize winners who received a paid trip to San Francisco, as well as an exclusive tour of the coolest 'Tallica spots guided by the boys themselves, dinner with the band, and then join the official launch party at night? The remaining 100 winners got an invitation to this exclusive launch party. There will also be bass player auditions and some lucky fan will get the chance to be Metallica's bass player for the night! Well, as you probably heard, the party was postponed, BUT now the band is back and ready to make good on all of their promises.
