Metallica posted something on their studio site last week that makes me belive they are planning a tour soon. My guess is that the release date for the new album will be late April or early May. Bob Rock said in an interview a month ago that they had May the first as a final date. It might be released before, but probably not later.
Now to the touring info. Lars said in the interview last week. Quote: ".... we might end up in a situation like we usually do where there's three weeks between the end of a record and the beginning of a tour...." Does this mean that they are already planning a tour? probably, and it is very likely that there will be a tour next year. Really good news!
