REVIEW: MORE MAXIMUM METALLICA
There has been released many bad Metallica interview discs from people trying to make some easy cash. Chrome Dreams who just released their 4th Metallica. Why are they different? First the package. This time Chrome has included a 10"x10" poster, a 8 page booklet, full color picture CD and packed everything in a sealed full color slipcase. Nice.
So it looks impressive in the Metallica CD collection, but is the audio as good? Almost. The biography is written by a lady and goes very much in details with a few coments from the band here and there. There is nothing new, at least not for me, and the band story goes on a little to fast. Yes a few words about their latest bass player change is OK, but only a few sentences about the Napster case or the death of Cliff Burton is a bit insulting. There could also have been more words from the mouth of our 4 heroes.
It is still the best CD interview/biography package I have seen and well worth the price. You can listen to it in your car, in the kitchen, discman or whatever. The CD is also well updated with recent news. find it in your local record store, or order it from amazon.com now.
