First, maybe a short introduction of Ron McGovney. He was Metallica's bass player before Cliff Burton and before they got any record deal, but he does play on some early recordings.
I just discovered today that he had some of his Metallica related stuff up for sale at eBay. This is mega rare stuff and a good piece of Metallica history. Examples are his passes, original demo tape and flyers.
