A FEW WORDS FROM METALLICA
I was lucky enough to meet Metallica, all four members, backstage when they played two shows here in Norway. They were all in a very good moode and took their time to talk. Lars spoke in both danish and english, as his mothers language in close to norwegian. Here are what they said.

We visited the national museum of art here in norway earlier today. We was at the Edward Munch museum on our last visit. I have two of his paintings above my bed back home. That's how much I love his work! - Kirk

There were some plans to play in the Tivoli Park in Copenhagen, but it was not possible to do, so we will play another place. There are some rumors about it, but it will probably not happen - Lars

Yes I have an aunt in Norway, Aunt Bodil, but she recently moved back to Denmark. - Lars

Lars was called "knirke" (creak, squeak) when he was a young kid, as he always made these noises when he was asleep or in his baby carriage. (Lars)

We will release some of the recordings we did before James was in the rehab. It is very different from St.Anger, more melody and closer to the black album. don't know when of how it will be released, but it might be a fanclub thing. - Kirk

Yes I remember the tour I did here up north with Suicidal Tendencies in 1989. I especially remember Finland very well. We supported Anthrax on the tour. - Rob
