The last major Metallica concert in North America was August 10. Since then, the band has been promoting its metal in Europe and other places where St. Anger met with more acclaim than it did in the U.S.
But that doesn't mean Metallica plan to overlook their homeland.
On March 2 the band will launch a six-month, 73-show tour, the group's management announced Friday (December 5). All major markets will be covered, as well as smaller cities like Fargo, North Dakota, and Boise, Idaho.
