ANTHRAX PLAYES METALLICA
Encycmet.com visitor Brandon Price reports: Some of
my friends and I went and seen Anthrax in Knoxville,
TN last Wensday(December 10). It was one hell of a
show to say the least. They only did one encore and in
it they played 2 songs one was "Whole Lot Of Rosie" by
ACDC, then they played "Bring The Noise". Well at the
end of "Bring the Noise" they started into "WHIPLASH"
by Metallica. It was kinda like a medely, except they
played all of "Bring The Noise" and when we thought
they were winding it down they went straight into the
intro of "Whiplash" then played one verse and one
chorus of it and closed the show. We couldnt believe
it. They had already blew us away anyway, but that
pushed us over the top.
So give up some props to Anthrax, they have been
friends of Metallica for years and to use "WHIPLASH"
to close there show was ultimate!!!!! Totally slammed
us!!! And by the way if you dont have Anthrax's new
album "We've Come For You All" get it. It is kick ass.
