Godsmack started at 7:30 and were a lot better than i expected. Sully got the crowd going before he gave the stage to Metallica after about an hour. They opened with Battery, then James got the crowd into it by leading into Fuel, before dedicating Leper Messiah to the boys in Godsmack. They left the stage for about a minute after playing 10 songs, including Frantic and St. Anger from the new album, before returning with Master of Puppets and One among others. The pyro for One was kick ass. They played a few more then left, but came back to play Jump in the Fire and close with Dyers Eve. It was my first metallcia show and it lived up to what ive been told about the amazing live show.
