Godsmack opened, but I only caught the last 20 minutes or so because I was a little late. I'm not a big fan of them, but it seemed like they were putting on a solid show. I was able to see a double drum solo they did, with their regular drummer and Sully going at the same time.

Then Metallica came on and opened with Blackened, They also did The Four Horsemen, and Fuel towards the beginning. I remember Kirk did a bit of soloing between songs early on. Trujillo did a solos about halfway through, starting off with some slap playing, and doing parts of And Justice for All and the interlude from Orion. They also played The Unforgiven, Whiskey in the Jar, Frantic, Saint Anger, No Leaf Clover, Fade to Black, and Nothing Else Matters. Towards the end they did One, which had a lot of pyros. They started to end with Enter Sandman, but came back and did Disposable Heros. Then James got the audience to promise to got crazy if they did one more song, which ended up being Seek and Destroy.

All in all, it was a really good show. The band seemed to enjoy it, and I know the audience did. The last time Metallica was here was five years ago or more, so the crowd was really psyched up for this. My ibiggest complaint was that they didn't do Creeping Death, which I thought would hae been a good song to hear in concert. But anyway I had a great time and I'm already looking forward to the next time Metallica comes to the area.
