Kirk joins Tool
Kirk Hammett reportedly joined Tool onstage during their headlining appearance at the Blaisdell Concert Hall in Honolulu, Hawaii on Friday (August 18). Hammett loves Hawaii for the weather and surfing so he was probably on a short holliday when his friends in Tool had a concert there. This might mean that Metallica are having some days of from the studio work.

He's not unintelligible, and he's not Elvis. Well, maybe he's their bastard son, Mr. Kirk Hammett." "[Kirk] then proceeded to come out and play guitar on 'Sober'.
