CD Review: Rockabye baby
There are many strange unauthorized tribute CDs on the market, but this one gets the gold medal. Rock baby records took all the volume and agression from the songs, all the hard beats and the riffs and added glockenspiel, vibraphone and other strange instruments. The result is some fine melodies we all know, but played is such a quiet way that they are total different from what we are used to.
This is not a dsc to bang your head to, nor play your air guitar to, but if you know any babies, try it, they will probably love this. It starts with a quiet "One" and ends up elleven track later with "Justice for all". I think I fall asleep somewhere in the middle.
