Metallica will be a part of the Live Earth CD and 2 DVD package that hits your local music store on November. Recorded and mixed by our very own Mike Gillies, the man who brings you all the shows on www.LiveMetallica.com, "Sad But True" will be included on one of the DVD's.

To refresh your memory, the Live Earth concerts took place on July 7 around the world and Metallica were honored to be a part of the show at Wembley Stadium in London. Net proceeds from the sale of the CD/DVD's will benefit the Alliance for Climate Protection, whose mission is to educate the public about the climate crisis and work to find solutions. The Foo Fighters, Chris Cornell, Lenny Kravitz, Linkin Park, Madonna, and the Police are among the many artists included on the album.
