Lars recently told the BBC that the next Metallica album could be upon us as soon as this Fall. "Should be out in September," he said. In fact, he thinks they will have the Rick Rubin-produced effort all wrapped up in about six weeks!

But how’s it sound? "I like what I’ve heard so far. I’m not one of the great sellers of the new record is the best thing we have ever done and it shits all over the last record and it’s way heavier," Lars told BBC Radio Bruce Dickinson. The re-release of the first two albums on vinyl is also a sign that the album will soon see the light of day. Metallica is probably releasing this to build hype for the new release.
