Someone, and don't ask me who, wrote, recorded and uploaded some tracks which sounded very much like Metallica. I am 100% sure, it is not Metallica. I have received a lot of emails from fans worldwide telling me that the album has leaked and that I should write about it here on encycmet.com. At first I ignored it, but now I cannot. There is too much e-mail to ignore.

The sound on these tracks is close to old-school Metallica, including the drumming and the vocals. They are probably recorded to sound exactly like the four horsemen, but you will not fool me. The voice is way to young to be James and the songs are not as complex as Metallica make them.

This is not the first time some songs have been rumoured to be leaked. Before St.Anger a band uploaded their songs under the Metallica name. Gee, did I get much e-mail back then, people event sent me MP3s so I had a hard time downloading my e-mails. I replied and said "no this is not Metallica" but all I got was replies telling me I was wrong. Of course, when the album was released the discussion stopped. Don't be fooled, we have to wait for the album, it has not leaked.
