New video preview
A short preview of the video for Metallica's new single, "The Day That Never Comes", can be viewed below. The clip was shot last month in Acton, California and is expected to make its online debut soon. The video reminds alot of the "I dissapear" video which has the same nature and feeling. The song is very good too, at least in my ears.
James Hetfield told MTV that the video won't be making any lofty political statements about the war in Iraq. it's a statement on humanity, helmed by acclaimed Danish director Thomas Vinterberg. Hetfield said that when he was writing the song's lyrics, he never envisioned the video would look anything like this. See the preview and make your own upinion.
