Oasis slams Metallica
Noel Gallagher of Oasis said he liked everything about Metallica, except their music.
Asked why he didn’t like the group, he replied: "Metal is not my thing. Wanna know why? Black drum sticks ... no need."
Gallagher’s comments about the metal heroes come less than a month after Lars Ulrich said the Oasis guitarist had helped him quit drugs. Lass has also been a huge die hard fan for many years. Lars told one publication that he had realised that "if he [Gallagher] can do it, everybody else can do it".
Oasis are an English rock band that formed in Manchester in 1991. They have sold more than 50 million records worldwide, have had eight UK number one singles and have collected 15 NME Awards, 5 Brit Awards and 9Q awards. The Gallagher brothers are the band's leading songwriters and the only continual members.
