If you are planing to go to a concert soon, please send me a review at sem@encycmet.com and I'll put it up on the site.
Anyone who has ever doubted Metallica's abilities was rocked out the doors at the Sprint Center in Kansas City. Starting it off with That Was Just Your Life, The End of the Line,All Nightmare Long,The Day That Never Comes and of course the must play live, Sad But True and One. They played an amazing show. If anyone thought that their fans had pushed them aside after 5 years of waiting for a new ablum. They were mistaken.
The crowd was in full force with mosh pits, headbanging and singing every single note. Metallica is still and will continue to be one of the best rock bands of all time. Even at almost 50 years old they played the rectangle stage and sang to every person in the arena. The highlight of the show was during the last two songs off the night. They turned on all the house lights. Metallica jammed on as blown up Metallica beach balls fell from the roof tops. Can't say enough good things about the show. Well worth the long lines to get in and long awaited tour. Metallica fans and non Metallica fans must see them live.
Many people that I spoke with at the show had never seen Metallica before. After the concert most stated that it was the best live concert they had seen. Metallica fans and Metallica's bond is strong as ever. Keep rocking Metallica!?!
