Just before the show in New Orleans I was lucky enough to meet the whole band backstage at the New Orleans Arena. Because of the site, encycmet.com, Metallica and the fanclub invited me and my wife to the states, paid my hotel and flight from Norway.

They were all in good mood, except for James who answered all questions with "I don't know", "not sure" or "No idea". Guess it wasn't his day, but on stage an hour later he was 100% fit for fight.
Rob was next and is always smiling cheering and having fun. Lars and Kirk were both in good mood and had a lot to talk about. As I am a collector of all things just like them collecting was the main subject. Being from Norway it is always fun to talk Danish with Lars to the other guests' frustration. He always has a lot to say and it seems that he is really enjoying meeting the fans. If you would like to have a chance to meet the band backstage as well join the fanclub now.
