Our icons Metallica will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2009.
They'll join Run-DMC, Bobby Womack, Little Anthony & The Imperials and Wanda Jackson when the class of 2009 is inducted into the revered Cleveland, Ohio museum in April the forth.
Artists become eligible for the Hall of Fame 25 years after the release of their first record.
