Metallica and Warner Bros. Records have announced the March 31 release of "The Complete Metallica," a digital box set that lives up to its name and takes complete advantage of the downloadable music format.
The set will comprise a monumental 163 tracks spanning nine studio albums, a live album, an album of covers, a couple of EPs, cuts from soundtracks and various artist compilations, and some live tracks previously available only as bonus tracks. The same week, "Guitar Hero Metallica" comes out, and the band will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Metallica want to meet the true believer who starts with "Kill 'Em All" and doesn't stop until the bonus live tracks. What would that do to a dude's head? Would the paths his neurons normally follow get all crazy? Would he start drinking?
