==== IT'S HOCKEY SEASON" =========================================
Once again hockey season is upon us, and it brings us a new Metallica
commerical. This new commercial features highlights of last season set to
Metallica's Fuel. Just a reminder, the band allows the NHL use their music
as a tribute to sport, not for monetary gain. After all, it is the
"Coolest Game On Earth."
==== WEEKLY VOTE =================================================
The new vote is up on my page. The question is: "Which album do you like
the most, load or re-load?" 731 have voted so far, and the results are:
Re-Load:47.61%
Load: 31.60%
Like both the same: 18.19%
Dont know: 2.60%
Be sure to go to http://www.encycmet.com to make your vote count.
==== PLAYED FOR PLAYBOY ==========================================
Oct 19: Metallica made history. Get this: Metallica did a show in Los
Angeles at the world famous PLAYBOY MANSION! A 45 minutes gig in front of
some of the most beautiful women in the world and other celebrities. Not
the typical Metalli-crowd...The setlist was the following:
Die Die Die my Darling (Misfits)
Fuel
King
Turn the page (Bob Seger)
Roam
Sleeps
Sad
Sandman
So what (Anti-Nowhere).
Here is what REUTERS had to say about this party: In a surreal display,
rock stars and Playmates mingled with other exotic birds who were free to
roam poolside at the afternoon affair. Guests snacked on burgers and ice
cream underneath a huge tent while gearing up for a performance from
Metallica. The heavy metal favorites blasted such songs as "Enter Sandman"
and an appropriately x-rated cover of the Anti-Nowhere League's "So What."
==== CONCERTS TO PROMOTE GARAGE.INC ==============================
