==== NEW PROMO VIDEO =============================================
Metallica is shooting the new video in Los Angeles for the first single
from new Garage Days CD, which will (probably) called Garage Inc. They are
filming this week, and the song it (probably again) Nick Cave's "Loverman"




==== FILM COMPANY  ===============================================
Kirk Hammett, along with Les Claypool (Primus), video director Mark Kohr,
producer Ron Shapiro, and filmmaker Miura Smith, are in the process of
formaing a Northern California-based independent film production company.
Les Claypool explains that it was created beacause..."We all have so many
friends up here who are in the business, doing a lot of commercial work,
and video, and they're all finding to get the big jobs they have to move
to Los Angeles. What we wanted to do is create an entity up here that
keeps the creative people here. Why? Because the quality of life is
better." Is also went into saying that "Kirk is way into it...he's very
excited. He's been a film buff ever since I've known him. Of all the
people in his camp, he's definitely got the best eye. He has very similar
tastes to ours, and we're certainly in the sanme headsdpace. It's great to
have him onboard." Watch out for the first project, South of the Pump
sometime within the next year.




==== VHS / DVD VIDEO =============================================
Metallica will release a Ft. Worth concert on VHS video on November 17.
1998. The Concert was filmed on May 8th and 9th, 1997 in Ft. Worth, Texas
by Wayne Isham and crew. The title will probably be "Cunning Stunts". The
double DVD version will allow you to direct the camera angles and watch
the band perform from any of the cameras used at the gig. It is the first
time ever that a concert has been filmed like this for DVD. For the

Those of you waiting for Fan Can #3 released by the official fan-club,
wait no longer. They're in the process of being shipped...some of which
have already reached their destinations! In case you've forgotten, FC3
