==== NEW LIVE DVD RELEASE =========================================
On December 8, the Elektra Entertainment Group will be
releasing a groundbreaking DVD double disc from Metallica,
with a title that could only come from the worldıs hardest
rocking band,  Cunning Stunts.  The release includes state
of the art  DVD features - including incredible live
performances captured during their 1997 Load/Re-Load World
Tour - the first in rock history to be filmed specifically
for the DVD format.

The prolific foursome will again be charting new territory
when they unveil the double disc set (one dual layer disc,
one single layer disc) shot in two nights in May Œ97 in Ft.
Worth Texas, and directed by award winning director Wayne
Isham. The discs will give an up close and personal look at
the worldıs biggest selling rock band by utilizing the
multiple camera angle option, which enables the viewer to
choose which band member they want to watch during three
songs of the performance.  Cunning Stunts features more than
140 minutes of concert footage and also includes an on-stage
and behind the scenes photo gallery of more than 1,800
photos, a chronicle of every show on the bandıs tour.

Other highlights include:

*       A fascinating documentation of how the hardware of
this historic tour was assembled, from the loading of the 17
semi-truck caravan, to never-seen-before footage revealing
the machinations behind the famous exploding stage finale
that closed each Metallica show.

*       Rare, behind the scenes interviews with Metallica
band members.

*       Full motion menus featuring an array of Metallica
logos and icons used throughout their colorful history.

Metallica enlisted fan assistance in compiling some of the
DVD features, like the photo gallery, to ensure that the
hi-tech double disc release would first and foremost serve

==== MORE GARAGE DAYS NEWS ========================================
Anticipation is also building for a soon to be released
double album from the group.  Metallica is putting the final
touches to the double CD, which will include the out of
print collectors EP, Garage Days Re-revisited,  plus a
collection of rare B-sides including 50 minutes of newly
recorded covers by the group. Bands that will be covered this
time include Nick Cave, iron Maiden, Bob Dylan among others
