interview some months ago that they would like to do more studio work in
the future, and less gigs.

=== GIG REPORT: KOREA, 24+25 APRIL =================================

Most of you do not know this but Metallica stoped in Seoul Korea for two
concerts. One was held on April 24 and the other on April 25. Two
unforgettable nights litterally put a city of 10+ million people on
hold.

It turns out Metallica was the biggest thing to hit the peninsula
since the north did in the 50's. The concert I went to, was
unvelievable. Imagine this, an olympic stadium packed with die hard
Metallica fans with multiple ethic backgrounds but all understood one
type of language, that it the language of Metallica.

When they opend with Master of Puppets, the whole stadium was chanting
"Master, master" encouraging Metallica to play louder and faster. They
did needless to say and everyone in the stadium, drunk or sober was
pleased that they did. After a couple of other songs the stadium went
black and silent. After a few silent moments you started to here machine
guns and screams of soliers. Then Metallica started playing ONE. The
crowd erupted. Bras and panties were flying, people were singing, and
ethnic barriers vanished.

Metallica brought people together, even if it was only for two or three
hours. I will never forget a night where I heard the best music and met
the best friends all becuase of a band named Metallica.

=== REVIEW - "FUEL" THE VIDEO ======================================

As we all had heard, the fab four, while in Japan, shot the video for
"Fuel" to be played on MTV and music stations around the world. And as
expected the boys did not dissapoint!

The video debuted on MTV's "Total Request" at number 4, and reached as
high as 3 one night. It is currently hovering around the 8-10 area.

The video itself is a masterpiece, one of the best I feel the band has
ever put out. Not too deep (Unforgiven, Unforgiven 2), yet not just the
band playing in an on-stage type situation either (Sad But True). It
takes us back to the days of the "One" and "Enter Sandman" video; scenes
decbribing the song with clips of the band jammin the song. Like "Sandman"
the clips of the band are mostly facial shots, the old evil looks and
gnarling stares.

All-in-all the video kicks royal ass. It's nice to see a serious rock or
metal video on MTV (which might as well change it's name to UrbanTV).
All of you who will check out the tour in Pittsburgh and Cleveland- SEE
YOU THERE!!

Untill next time, I'm Jason (not Newstead), sayin CARPE DIEM!!!
