==== KERRY KING ABOUT METALLICA ===================================
Slayer guitarist Kerry King was the subject of this month's "Hard 
Of Hearing" feature in Britain's Terrorizer magazine. For the 
article, King was played a song each from 10 different bands and 
was asked to comment on the music as he was listening to it. 

The following are some of the highlights from King's listening session: 

Kerry King: [2 seconds in "St. Anger"] "Ugh! I know what that is! 
You can tell right away by the sh*tty mix. I made myself listen to 
this album twice, just to make sure I hated it as much as .....

Aside from the posters produced on a mass scale for an artist, there
are also the much more sought after and imaginative posters handmade 
for a specific event. These posters are all conceived and executed

==== GODSMACK TO OPEN FOR METALLICA ===============================
Godsmack have been officially confirmed as the opening band for 
Metallica on their upcoming European tour. The band were previously 
scheduled to open for Ozzy Osbourne on his European trek, but ended 
up pulling out of the tour — as well as their own headlining dates 
on the continent — due to unspecified "scheduling conflicts." 

You should invest in the last Godsmack album to get the most of the 
show. 

The Boston-based alt-metal band Godsmack took their name from a song 
by Alice In Chains. The foursome released ....

==== BACKSTAGE INFORMATION ========================================
As you probably know, the Metallica gives away free backstage passes 
to members at their concerts. If there are too many members the 
club have to do a "lottery", and they recently posted this note on the 
members only section of metallica.com: 

Basically, not much has changed - passes will still be given out 
lottery style to give all Clubbers a fair and equal chance. What has 
changed is that we will be doing it online, so you will know before the 
show if you have won a pass or not. Then you simply go to the club 
booth the day of the show to check in and find out exactly what time 
the meet and greet will be, which is still before Metallica goes on stage 

I have received several e-mails from Hugo Carvalho who met the whole band 
backstage in Spain. I have myself met the band backstage 3 times and on

Who: Anyone who can get their bling-bling out on the red carpet and 
     walk away with an award to back it up 

But seriously, talk show host Jimmy Kimmel will host this year’s 
edition of the American Music Awards taking place on November 16th 
beginning at 8pm EST/7pm CST at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
West coast will view the music industry ceremony via a tape delay.

James Hetfield is putting the 1967 Camaro that he drove in the video
for "I Disappear" up for auction, via eBay.com, starting Monday 
(September 22). Hetfield, who has owned and driven the car for three 
years, received it as a gift after the band finished filming the 
video. Money raised from the sale of the car will be donated to 
school music programs.
