EDITORIAL. Friends: I am really looking forward to get my hands on the
soon to be released "S&M" release. A lot of formats will be released, and
I as a die hard collector I will buy them all. I currently have more than
350 official releases, CDs, vinyl, singles, videos etc. Don't forget to

==== DIFFERENT S&M VERSIONS =======================================
The new live release "S&M" will be available in different formats. All
formats can be pre-ordered from CDNOW at a good price (Order for $25 or
more and get $10 off! - go to my site at http://www.encycmet.com and click
on the CDNOW link). Here is a brief explenation of the formats
 
CD "S&M" - Ordinary version 
The show as it were played. Not edited at all. This version is also
available on tape and limited edition vinyl. 

CD "S&M" - Clean version. 
This version has been edited for all the bad language, fucks' and shits'
and so on. Some stores and chains in the States will not sell music with
explicit language and lyrics. That's the reason for this 

VIDEO / DVD "S&M" 
Two versions will be availabla on video. This regular one with the show
and one limited edition. 

VIDEO / DVD "S&M" - Limited edition 
This version has everything the ordinary video has, plus an addional 40
minute "Making Of" video. I am not sure how many copies of this one is
made, but you can preorder it now from CDNOW at a good price  




==== METALLICA IN CIRCUS SHOW =====================================
The Sweede Jonas Åkerlund (director of Turn the page and Whiskey in the
jar) said in an interview tonight that metallica will participate, in some
way, in his circus-show in Las Vegas. The first show is set to be in
September. More news will follow

==== BOOTLEG REVIEW ===============================================
Title: garage days 4
Format: CD
source: Various live, studio, demos

This CD is called "garage days 4". the last in an "unofficial series" of
garage days (the original, 2, 3, and this one....4). this one is
definitley a bootleg made in someone's own garage. the cd has no lable on
the top. it is a silver cd....but on both sides! there's 14 tracks of
live/demo/rehearsal/fuckin around! the track list is as follows:

   1. so what (irvine, ca, 8-4-96)
   2. creeping death (" ")
   3. king nothing (" ")
   4. whiplash (" ")
   5. mama said (demo)
   6. breadfan (studio version)
   7. for whom the bell tolls (dallas, tx, 2-5-89)
   8. welcome home-sanitarium (" ")
   9. one (demo)
   10. breadfan (rehearsal...rough mixing job)
   11. wonderwall (oasis cover from one of the fan cans)
   12. sucking my love (recorded in ron mcgovney's garage, 3-82)
   13. the prince (" ")
   14. blitzkreig (studio version)

The sound quality is excellent, except for the ones from ron's garage.
Obvioulsy. this CD is mainly for the die hard collectors, such as myself.
its also another hard to find item. Well worth the $25 i paid.

I found it at a local "independant" record store. Small used CD stores are
the best place to check for rare bootlegs and imports. get to know the
guys who work there and they'll let you know when new stuff comes in and
maybe cut you a deal if you spend a lot of moo-lah there
