==== KIRK ON SOUNDTRACK? ===========================================
Kirk Will maybe do some soundtrack material in the near future with
Michael Kamen. Here is what he said to guitar.com 

Hammett: Yeah, as a matter of fact we have spoken about doing some stuff
in the future. I mean he does something like 15 soundtracks a month. I
told him if he ever needs someone like me to play guitar, even for 15
seconds, I'm there. He made me say it again. And then he thanked me! That
would be a great thing.

Kerrang, The UK metal mag, have nominated Metallica as the "Best band in
the world". Other nominees are Marilyn Manson Korn, Stereophonics and

Here is some words from Kirk about how he think the music will be in the
future 

Hammett: There's no telling right now, but personally speaking I think
we'll start to embrace technology a little more. It makes no sense for us
to be on the cutting edge of it, finding the newest samples and tools and
all that stuff because we thrive on a classic formula that in my opinion,
will never die, and that is good ol' hard rock and heavy metal. But we're
constantly looking for things that will open our sound up more, that's
just us. But before anyone asks, no, it won't be electronic.

As many of you have reported, there have been problems with the message
board lately, and the reason is - it became too popular! I'm paing $200 a
month to host encycmet.com, and that include 35 GIGAbytes of transpher
which is a lot. When I have more than that the server starts to fuck-up.
That's the reason for the Forum errors. I have now moved the forum to a
new server and I hope the problems are fixed. The URL is still the same
