Metallica currently have some days off from their tour, but we can still
enjoy the cool facts about the tour which is from the cover of the new Die
die single

- CREW SIZE: (Including drivers, crew, band parties etc) 65

- COUNTRIES: 34 Different countries in 16 weeks

- FLIGHTS: 142 Flights!

- SHOWS: 45

- FANS: Estimated 1 million fans will see Metallica this tour

- BEER: Different types of beer. Let's see, 34 different countries, 1-2
different beers in each country, about 100 different beers in all

- ASPRIN: About 100 bottles to be gone this tour, (Most likely to crew
tasting all the different beers)

==== NEW SINGLE RELEASED ===========================================

     Live tracks from the Roseland Ballroom in New York in November

"Die die my darling" is finally released as single. this is my favourite
track on Garage Inc. I have enjoyed this song since I bought my first
Misfits album. The Metallica version is even better.... But, don't buy the
single for this song, it is the same version as on the album, look at the
live tracks instead. 

The single has a total playing time of 22 minutes, too much to be included
in the single charts. "Sabbra Cadabra" is here with excerpt from another
Sabbath song "National Acrobat" as on the studio version. This is recorded
in New York last November. Excellent, and so is the "Mercyful Fate" medley
recorded at the same show.

This single is 3 songs by 3 of my favourite bands recorded by my all time
favourites. Yes, it is 100% pure metal.

There is only one version of the CD single this time, not 3 as usually.

As I mentioned in the last issue, the record company tried to shut down
some Metallica MP3 sites. Last week I had a question up on the survey
about this and asked "how often do you download MP3 files?". Here is the
results:

     sometimes: 31.02%
     have tons of MP3 files: 30.31%
     Never: 23.54%
     Often: 15.13%
