This was in Nurnberg Germany and was Rock im Ring. It was a 3 day festival
with 90 bands, but the best part was Metallica! They played from 9pm until
about 11:30pm (not sure though, cuz i did not really check my watch. They
played all there greatest songs in my mind. The best part to me was when
they played One. The beginning part when the guns are firing was filled
with lots of pyrotechnics and the crowed just went wild. The show was
filled throughout with bass solos from Jason and guitar solos from Kirk.
It was like Kirk became one with the guitar, he produced some sounds that
just made my heart pound. I have been a Metallica fan since Master of
Puppets in 1986, but this was still the first time I have seen Metallica
and I must say that out of the hundreds of concerts I have been to, this
was by far the
best, and if anyone was in the Nurnberg area and did not go see them, you
missed out on a great show.

==== JAPANESE CDs =================================================
As you probably know, I've been a die-hard Metallica collector since 1987
and have now about 350 different official items (CDs, LPs, Singles, promos
etc). The editions I enjoy most is probably the Japanese CDs and singles.
These always have something extra included like posters, stickers, lyrics.
Some Metallica albums have extra tracks, and the Re-load and Load CDs
comes with the complete lyrics to all songs. The covers are better than
the original releases as well. More pages, better paper and so on. The
singles is also a must, some have up to 8 tracks with an hour of playing
time. The "One" mini album is also only released in Japan.
For more information about these items, or if you want to buy some, check
out the Metallica shop at http://www.encycmet.com
==== GUESTS ON STAGE ==============================================
At the Dynamo Open Air show Metallica invited Evan, Billy and Danny from
Biohazard and Anthony from Merauder on stage to sing the "die die die"
part of Creeping Death.

This is a great bootleg, well worth the Aussie $50 I payed for it.
Tracks 1-4 were recorded at Sausalito on 12/13/95 in rehersal for
Lemmy's 50th B/Day.
-Mouldy is a demo for 'Hero of the Day', with no vocals apart from a few
moans and grunts from James.
-Metalli-Medley is a combo of Ride the Lightning, No Remorse, Hit the
Lights, Phantom Lord, and Fight Fire with Fire. It
was recorded at the Monsters of Rock Fest at Castle Donington in 95.
-Until it Sleeps was recorded at the 1996 MTV Music Video Awards, 1996.
-Tracks 8 and 9 were recorded with Ron McGovney on Bass and Dave
Mustaine on Lead guitar. They were recorded in Rons
basement, around March 1982.
-No Remorse was recorded at their first live performance, with a screw
up by James.
-Seek and Destroy and Phantom Lord are the studio versions with a fake
crowd added in. During 'Phantom Lord', James yells
"Come on Chicago, Lets see some arms!!"
-Whiplash was recorded live in Denmark, 1985, with Lar's introduction in
Danish
This bootleg is great quality, and if you find it, grab it. The front
cover is colour, with a photo of Cliff, Lars, James
and Kirk sitting in front of a drum kit.
