==== BOOTLEG REVIEW ===============================================
Title: Garage Days 2
Format: 1CD
Info: Italian bootleg with color cover
This is an import/bootleg from Italy I think. Here's the track list:
The Mechanix
Killing Time
Let It Loose
Sucking My Love
The Prince
Jump In The Fire
Whiplash
No Remorse
Eye Of The Beholder
Remember Tomorrow
2x4
So What!
Am I Evil?
Helpless
London Dungeon
Last Caress/ Green Hell
Rapid Fire
'Merry Fuckin' Christmas From Metallica'
Total Run Time:76 min.
This is a very cool boot. Some of it is hard to hear because of the
age of the recording, but it's worth the $20 I paid.
-The Mechanix is from the 'No Life 'Til Leather' demo
-Killing Time, Let It Loose, Sucking My Love, The Prince, and Jump In
The Fire were recorded in March of 1982 with Dave Mustaine on lead
guitar and Ron McGovney on bass. I think they were recorded in McGov-
ney's garage. From what it says on the case Let It Loose and Sucking
My Love are the two rarest Metallica recordings.
-Whiplash and No Remorse were recorded in March of 1983 at KUSF radio
in San Francisco. These recordings feature Dave mustaine and Cliff
Burton together. They are different from the kill 'Em All versions.
-Eye Of The Beholder is just a demo of the song recorded in 1988.
-Remember Tomorrow (originally by Iron Maiden) and 2x4 were recorded
at Monsters Of Rock 95.
-So What! was recorded at Wembley on October 25, 1993 and features
Animal of Anti-Nowhere League on vocals. This is a very cool track.
-Am I Evil? and Helpless were recorded at the N.E.C. in Birmingham on
November 5, 1993 and features Diamond Head jamming on the tracks with
Metallica.
-London Dungeon, Last Caress and Green Hell were recorded in Chicago
in 1994 and features Glen Danzig on vocals.
-Rapid Fire (originally by Judas Priest) was recorded in Miami 1994
and features Rob Halford on vocals.
-'Merry Fuckin' Christmas From Metallica' is a 1993 promo for Live
Shit: Binge & Purge.' It's spoken by James
If you can find this CD pick it up, it's definetley worth it.
