"Jump in the Fire" was Metallica's second LP - single. Its cover shows a laughing demon
who's lurking in hell. This demon can be seen as a "Whiplash" sticker on Jaymz's white Gibson Explorer.
Their first demo "No Life 'Till Leather" included this song.

The single:
The single of "Jump In The Fire" has been only released outside the USA. The release
which has the Devil who is looming large in a pit of flames as its cover was a limited
edition picture disc. Both releases were a 12" vinyl single.

The lyrics of this song are written from the devil's point of view who's watching
the people who are killing each others and so the villain is sure that they all will get
themselves in hell. They "Jump in the Fire".

- The devil summons the people to go to hell

- He was forced to do it and the people (and not him) are the only
blame for that they'll go to hell

- He summons the pople to go to hell

- Hell stands for his flashing eyes and death is what he's living on
