The name of our group is ‘The Unforgiven’. We met at a Facebook group of Metallica’s fans and followers. Since then, we have been in contact regularly, sharing news and music from our favorite band. The Unforgiven is formed by four guys and one gal from San Francisco, Texas, and Boston, but we currently live in LA.

At first, we would only get together to share rarities such as live videos, old demos, singles, LPs, and CDs. But soon, we felt we wanted to do more. For this reason, we created this fan page to pay tribute to one of the greatest bands of heavy metal.

Metallica’s 40th birthday

Metallica has become a legend. Although they started as a thrash metal group, they developed a style that’s beyond heavy metal. They are now respected by musicians and audiences dedicated to different genres.

In 2021, Metallica became 40 years old. Not many bands have stayed active for that long, but Lars, James, Kirk, and Robert are more alive than ever. They are celebrating their anniversary doing what they do best: touring the world.

The dates and places of the concerts are described on the Metallica official website, and the schedule includes countries like Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Germany, France, and Portugal.

It seems like yesterday when James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich came together for the first time and discussed the possibility of forming a band. James was amazed to find a person who shared the same passion for music and the same dreams. They were both shooting for greatness and quickly understood what they had in common.

Since then, a lot has happened: ten albums, almost 2,000 shows around the world, 3 Grammy awards, and lots of adventures. Now Metallica is ready to celebrate, and we are ready to join them.

Our Vision

We understand that the music scene is changing. While the development of technology has opened the way for unlimited knowledge and resources, it has its downsides.

We feel that the youngest generations are getting caught in the culture of immediacy. They are exposed to these new technologies and a large amount of information, which makes it difficult to find high-quality music or art.

This is why we feel it’s time that the centennials got to know a bit more about the music culture of the past century and its legacy. And our Metallica website tribute seems like an excellent excuse for this.

Our Mission

To celebrate Metallica’s 40th anniversary, we created this fan page to pay them tribute. Our goal is to share news, events, articles, rarities, videos, and music of our favorite band.

We intend to create a community where fans can share their experiences, pictures of concerts, thoughts, and ideas. We will open a forum where visitors can ask questions and find like-minded people.

The page will feature:

  • Pictures of recent concerts
  • Pictures of previous concerts
  • Articles about Metallica’s music
  • News about the band
  • Tour dates
  • Links to buy tickets
  • Concert reviews
  • Fan tips

Welcome to Our Metallica Fan Page

In the same way that Metallica’s music brought us together, we’re sure that it can do the same for other people. We hope that this will be an environment where all generations of Metallica fans get together despite their age, culture, language, and location.
